Look at the interior and exterior separately
A clean-looking exterior can hide a cabin that needs deeper attention, while an immaculate interior may belong to a vehicle with rough or dull paint. Start by identifying what actually bothers you. Is it dust on the dashboard, stains in the seats, embedded debris in the carpet, or an exterior that no longer feels clean after washing? Choosing around the condition gives you a better starting point than choosing solely by the vehicle’s age.
When Interior Refresh makes sense
Interior Refresh is designed around vacuuming, surface cleaning, floor mats, windows, and appropriate protection. It starts at $160, with pricing affected by seating rows and condition. This is a useful option for a generally maintained cabin needing regular attention. It is not the same as shampooing all seats and floors. If you have a particular spill or area of heavy buildup, describe it before booking so it is accounted for.
When to consider Premium Interior
Premium Interior adds seat and floor shampooing and steam cleaning to the Refresh scope and starts at $250. It is worth discussing when ordinary vacuuming and wipe-down cleaning are unlikely to address your concern. Materials and condition still matter. A worn seat bolster, torn upholstery, or permanent discoloration cannot necessarily be restored by deeper cleaning. Persistent smells also need an assessment of their source rather than a promise that cleaning alone will fix them.
Full detailing combines both areas
Full Refresh combines the corresponding interior and exterior services and starts at $240. Premium Full combines the deeper packages and starts at $400. The Premium exterior side includes decontamination, clay treatment, ceramic sealant, and trim restoration. A full detail is convenient when both areas need care, but it should not be assumed to include separate paint correction, professional ceramic coating, or every add-on.
Hybrid packages give you another option
A Hybrid package mixes the levels. Interior Hybrid starts at $315 and combines Premium Interior with Exterior Refresh. Exterior Hybrid starts at $325 and combines Premium Exterior with Interior Refresh. For example, a cabin with accumulated dirt and a well-maintained exterior may call for the first option. This is a package comparison, not a diagnosis of your car; photographs help establish the right scope.
Prepare for the appointment
Remove personal items, valuables, and loose belongings before the visit. Discuss child seats and remove them yourself as arranged. Tell the detailer about damaged trim, sensitive materials, previous repairs, and any areas you do not want treated. Ask about drying and when you can use the vehicle afterward. Clear expectations help the appointment focus on the work you actually need.
